Inside a Modern but Rustic South London Home

As you know, we are obsessed with anything to do with interiors. Recently we have been discovering so many new, beautiful homes that we simply had to create a new series dedicated to showcasing some of our favourites.

To kick the series off, we are going to take a peek inside a late-Edwardian terraced house in South West London. Every room this family home is carefully designed to only contain items of purpose; the result is a house that perfectly walks the line between minimal and welcoming.

What’s your favourite part of this beautiful home? Let us know in the comments below or over on our Instagram page.

The vintage accents help make this large house feel like a home, while the floor to ceiling windows introduce light and levity into a potentially dark space. In the cooler months the front living room acts as a cosy snug for the family to relax in; create a similar look with this stove from Arada.

Our favourite features however, can be found in the kitchen. The IKEA frame reaches floor to ceiling to maximise storage – and eliminate the risk of cupboard-top dust – and the reclaimed wood has been salvaged from old school science benches (complete with graffiti).
