Everything you Need to Know About the H&M x Morris & Co. Collaboration

H&M is renowned for its popular collaborative collections; from Versace to Stella McCartney, the high-street brand has teamed up with an endless list of big names from the fashion world.

However, in recent months the brand has moved away from fashion royalty and is sourcing its inspiration from British heritage brands. The latest summer collaboration with wallpaper brand GP & J Baker featured the design house’s light and colourful wallpaper patterns on billowy trousers and relaxed blouses.

For their autumn/winter collection, H&M has turned to quintessentially British interiors brand, Morris & Co. The brand was given access to Morris & Co’s extensive archives and chose some of their most iconic prints to feature in the collection.

Everything about the collection screams country heritage, from the prints to the contrast of structured jackets and soft blouses; this is a distinctly British collaboration.

The designs breathe new life into William Morris’ original 17th-century designs: ‘Brer Rabbit’, ‘Lily Leaf’, ‘Marigold’ and ‘Pimpernel’. “This collaboration enables us to show the relevance of Morris’ iconic patterns today”, says Claire Vallis, Creative Director of Morris & Co.

The romantic pieces in this collaboration will become staples in our a/w wardrobe and we can’t wait to get our hands on them. Morris & Co x H&M will be available in store and online from 4th October.
